Agrigel's Precision Flow Control Management System called APFlow is the latest technological offering for PRECISION FARMING that electronically controls and monitors the application of liquids such as fertiliser, micro-elements, pesticides, etc. to reduce variability within fields on a site specific basis, maximising the effectiveness of these liquids and striving to achieve optimal yield.

APFlow applies liquid crop inputs variably throughout the field as determined by the field management information. As the crop input is being applied, APFlow records the application, the GPS coordinates and other relevant real-time data for computer software analysis.

• Precision farming for site specific liquid application is achieved with GPS technology that allows for variable liquid application in the land as determined by CSV files. These CSV files are derived from Shape Files or created manually on a PC. Land data can also be determined by direct input on the unit by following lands' boundaries and creating areas of specific application rates within lands as required.
• Variable electronic application and real-time liquid control is achieved by self-monitoring and adjusting, resulting in precise liquid application with minimal wastage.
• APFlow is a multi-purpose system that is primarily used for the application of liquid fertiliser, but can also be used to apply insecticides, herbicides, micro elements and organisms.
• The flow of the liquid for each row is individually controlled and accurately measured by means of contactless ULTRASONIC flow meters, which reduces the problems commonly associated with flow meters with moving parts.
• Comfortably monitor the liquid application and other relevant information directly from the tractor cab on the display unit as you plant.
• Faults are immediately indicated on the display during planting through electronic diagnosis and error reporting.
• All application data is saved on the unit and can be downloaded to a PC via USB for further analysis.
• Land definition is done by the unit's GPS or by computer input creating the opportunity for farm land management for every farmer.

• A theoretical tank level indicator is incorporated in the system to warn when the supply tank is approaching empty and needs refilling.

• The system has adjustable, manual bypass valves, so that should a problem arise during planting, planting can continue until the fault is repaired.
